Public page
Not every band needs, or wants to pay for, a full website. Publish your band’s story, news and upcoming performances on a public page that anyone can visit, with no programming skills needed.
A web page without a website project
- Your band gets its own public page at its own web address, built and hosted by Bandmin.
- Write a headline and an “About the band” section, add your logo and up to two photos, and you are live.
- A “Member sign-in” button on the page takes your members straight to the private band area.
- Ideal for bands that don’t need or want to pay for a full-featured website of their own.
Upcoming performances
- A “Coming up” list of the performances you choose, with date, time, venue and ticket information.
- Choose which details of each gig are public, either from the Public page area or from the gig itself.
- Past performances drop off the page by themselves.
News
- Post news items for the public, such as concert announcements, new members wanted or a successful competition.
- Your public news is separate from the private noticeboard, so member-only notices never leak.
You decide what is public
- Nothing is public until you choose it. Every gig and news item is “Not public” by default.
- One switch turns the whole page on or off. While it is off, nobody outside the band can see it.
- Preview the page exactly as visitors will see it before you publish.
- The public contact email is optional, and only shown if you enter one.
- Ask search engines not to list the page until you are ready to be found.
Careful with photos and privacy
- Reminders to share only pictures you have permission to use, and to check consent from anyone shown, especially children.
- Camera details and location data are removed from photos when you upload them.
- Only information you choose to publish is ever shown. Member details, finances and music stay private.
